Iā€™m Haley! A content creator and blogger based in Fairfield County, Connecticut focused on travel, lifestyle, and experiences across New England.

A Seattle girl - which shaped my love for the water and coastal lifestyle.

I started The Connecticut Life when I moved to Connecticut in 2019 from New York City. While I loved the city lifestyle, I immediately felt at home when I moved to Connecticut - and wanted to showcase the amazing places in this region. I have always loved New England (despite growing up in the Pacific Northwest). I deeply connect with the rich history, stunning coastlines, distinct seasons, culinary delights, independent businesses, and small town charm across the region.

I am originally from the Seattle, Washington area - which shaped my love for the water and coastal lifestyle. After graduating from Syracuse University in 2015, I moved to New York City and began working full-time in sports marketing. I am a huge sports fan and love all Seattle sports teams. I currently live in Fairfield County, Connecticut with my boyfriend and two cats - Champ and Kobe! When Iā€™m not working, I enjoy cooking, reading, going to the beach, and of course, traveling all over New England!
